Vaginal infection can make my period late? |
I think I have some kind of vaginal infection. I have been feeling itchy down there for about four days. I started using Vagisil anti-itch lotion and gave myselfs some douches. Now also my period is about a week late. I had sex a week ago and I think my period is getting late because of two things: or I am pregnant or my vaginal infection has something to do. But I wanted to know if a vaginal infection could make my period late. And how long should I wait until I go to a doctor. And if you could write down a couple of symptoms of vaginal infection because if so it would be the first time I get one and I am feeling lost here. I appreciate any information given. first of all douching is only going to make things worse. do you have any discharge? don't wait, just go to the dr asap. its probably just a yeast infection, but let the dr check you out. |
