Yeast infection?itching and burning feeling in vaginal area?

i have an itchy burning sensation in the lower crack of my butt by my vagina like i haven't wiped good (sorry but yeah) this only happens when i get sweaty down there and it gets a little moist or when i have on a pad sometimes and i get sweaty. it is very uncomfortable for me and my mom told me to put vasaline on it to see if that would help and that clears it up until the next time i get really moist in that area. Yesterday at work i began to feel the same thing but as time went on the pain moved down into my vaginal area around the vulva. it was soo uncomfortable!! when i got home i looked and i had a cloudy white looking discharge i went to the store and bout some vaginal cream for yeast infections and it has stopped. i am sexually active and i'm worried it maybe a sexually transmitted disease or just a yeast infection or could it just be somethin like a diaper rash?..please help me thank you! and i do have an appointment soon i will ask about this when i go

Sounds like you may have a yeast infection..if u cant get to a doc right away go to your local drugstore and get some medication..they'll have several different kinds- they need to be inserted directly into your vagina for either only one day or up to 7 days..if you have no relief after you finish using the medication u need to see a gynecologist.

Its almost certainly a yeast infection. Try not to worry.

ok, go out to the drug store and get the new like home test kit from vagisil i think, it helps tell if its like a bladder infection, and uti yeast and such, that would be my frist thing to do, then you can kinda self and home treat till you go to the doct
try cranberry juice, and yogurt, some over the counter AZO pills for yeast infection and uti if thats what you have
best of luck

Could be a yeast infection or irritation from the sweat staying against your skin for a long period of time. For either, vaseline will only worsen the problem because it will trap even more moisture. If you are sexual active and you have not been tested for std's, go see your gyno. Also, if you have never been diasgnosed with a yeast infection and you are not sure what to look for, have your doc check it out first; could be bacterial or allergies. For now, vagisil will help sooth the itching, no matter what's casuing it and will help ease the discomfort til you make it to the doc. Good luck!

HI there! I came across a website that you might find to be helpful. Here is some of what I found. Another home cure for a yeast infection involves avoiding certain substances that can actually exacerbate your problem. These 鈥渘o-no鈥檚鈥?include alcohol, sugar, foods that are high in fat, and processed foods. It is also a good idea to avoid yeast-containing foods, such as cheeses, peanuts and dried fruit.

Hope this helps!!

It sounds like a yeast infection that started on the skin and moved to the vaginal area. The symptoms of yeast infection are:

-Burning
-Itching
-white discharge
-redness
-painful urination
-discomfort during sexual intercourse

I would be careful during intercourse. If you still have the yeast infection, you CAN pass it on to your male counterpart.
