Vaginal problems? |
I'm a 19 years old female who does not have regular menstration. Recently, i noticed there were some brown discharge which lasted for 2 days. This is not the first time it has occured but it rarely happens...I have only experienced this 2 times before. I have no idea what caused it...i'm worried that i may have some STDs or something. I've have not had sex before but i do masturbate sometimes with 'items' ( though not frequent ~ less then 10 times in my life). First, this is not sexually transmitted disease because you need to have "sex" before having this infection. Secondly you use "items" that could introduce germs in your canal.Third you have no regular menstruations yet. The discharge you describe could be very light 'spotting' - bleeding between periods or it could br a slight infection of some kind. There's no way to know for sure without consulting your doctor. I guarantee they will have seen this kind of thing hundreds of times before so there's no need to be embarrassed. Please go see your doctor as he or she will put your mind at rest very quickly and you can stop worrying so much! If you've never had sex you do NOT have an STD. By 19 you should definitely be having periods. Go to a gynecologist and he/she will get your periods started with a shot. And give you peace of mind. Good luck. I have had that too... usually my period starts a few days later. The brown discharge is dried blood that didn't expel from you body last time you had your period is what my doctor told me. Being that you have never had sex, its not an STD. The itching can just be a change in hormones caused by your regular cycle... the same hormones that can PMS you may have a yeast infection |
