Vaginal Strep...?

I just found out I have vaginal strep. I never even knew that existed but well I have it. Im not really sure how I got it...and no it is not a sexually transmitted disease. I read that it can be hard to get rid of? I am on Ampicillin 250mg 4 times a day. Do you think this will kick it out? Any information you have on this would be helpful. Thanks.
