My discharge is yellowish and smells funny....???? I AM SCARED?

Hi,
my vaginal discharge is yellowish and smells funny,
there are no rashes but sometimes it does not feel itchy.
I am only 13. do I have a vaginal disease???
I have started my period.
Please Help!

It has been going on for about 4 months

Any abnormal discharge that has been occurring for 4 months needs to be evaluated by a physician. This may be awkward for you but believe me, doctors have seen it all! You don't necessarily have to see a gynecologist either - your primary care doctor should be able to help you out. If you have been sexually active you may want to consider getting an STD screen done as well, just as a precaution.

You have a yeast infection.

I agree w/ the 1st answer. Tell your folks and get a Dr appt asap.

Don't worry, but you should make an appointment with your primary care physician who can refer you to a gynecologist, if necessary. Women often have vaginal discharges. Take care.
