My Girlfriend experiences severely itchy vagina, why? |
My girl in the last year and a half has been itching herself raw. She is a very clean person which showers everyday. She is 40 years old. Medically she has been checked for the following: Yeast infection - Negative, bloodwork for Premenapause and Diabetes, all blood work came back negative. Has tried over fifteen different prescribed and over the counter creams, such as cortisone creams, Vagisal, and even cornstarch, which none of the above have stopped her itching problem overall. No vaginal diseases or crabs. Is there anyone out there that may have the answer to end her problem? For anyone thats going to come up with the sugesstion that it could be sweat or being overweight should know that she is at a lighter weight than she has been in her past. Please help!! Also has had Liver Function Test, which everything is at normal levels, considering she has Hepatitis C I am an alternative medicinal therapist and an ex nurse. have you considered an allergy. Perhaps it's the washing powder. Without seeing her i cannot prescribe anything but if anyone can help her a herbalist or an acupuncturist can. I once had the same problem and i used CALENDULA cream, you get this from the health shop, it worked for me and for a few of my patients.Has she considered shaving off her pubic hair, if she has any left of course.Perhaps she is using the wrong soap or shower gel. I always use either aloe vera soap or olive oil soap. Please let me know the outcome. I feel very sorry for her and if there is anyway I can help let me know, meanwhile i will do some research for you.You can contact me on gloriashealth@btinternet.com. Please give me your full e mail address i cannot contact you via yahoo answers. I'm not sure, but Summer's Eve has an EXCELLENT line of products, I think they're anti-vaginal itch pads. If she is washing up with soap down there, stop it pronto! Use clear water instead. Also, she should cut down on eating excessive amounts of sugar if she does that. Sleeping without undies is also a big help. First off, ignore that first comment. NEVER have a woman douche, unless the doctor tells her so for medical reasons. It can throw off vaginal pH and cause all sorts of infections like BV and yeast. Those Summer's Eve wipes may help but I wouldn't trust any company that sells douches. yeast infection. you should get checked out to. you can keep giving it back to her through sexual intercoures. |
