I sometimes get extremely sticky vaginal secretions, is this normal? What does it mean? |
I'm worried it may mean I have some sort of disease or infection, although I'm not sexually active. I've never been to a gynocologist before and frankly I'm embarrassed to talk about it with anyone. I'd like to know if anyone knows anything about this before I have to bring it up or make an appointment with a doctor. I don't get it very often, but sometimes when it happens it will reoccur for a few days and then stop. It's very sticky, almost like mucus. I find it very disturbing, needless to say. Can anyone help me with this? your mucus changes during your cycle, it is different at ovulation to what it is after and what it was before. I know discharge gets thicker the closer you are to starting your period. Unless you have a burning sensation down there, or it has a very nasty odor/color, I wouldn't worry about it. But, if you wanna make sure, just talk to your doc. :] No, that means you are normal...and probably young... If you masturbate, could be because of it. If you don't, there could be some infection. Get checked by a doctor urgently. And don't worry, lots of people go to gynecologists. it just be that since your not sexuzlly active your body is trying to just find a way to discharge such vaginal juices from within, maybe its time to indulge in such activities once you are checked by a doctor. It can be white discharge. Please consult your gynac. |
