More discharge than before. (i know its not a disease)? |
im 12 years old and ive had a little more vaginal discharge than i usually have. i have looked at almost all the diseases that you can get on the web. i looked through all the symtoms and i never saw anything like that. could it be the sign that i could get my first period really soon? (i hope so) i am not quite sure how long i have had discharge.it was just tonight i pulled down my underwear and noticed a lot. plz answer. and DONT tell me to go to the doctor. i have already looked at the diseases. oh oops! i meant infections! discharge is normal. and at your age thats when it starts. well sweetheart, it matters what color the discharge is. If it is a darker color than it is probably your first period. Your first period doesnt come out looking like blood.(if this helps you any) If its not a dark color I have no idea what it can be. The best thing to do is ask a female adult about it. It sounds like it could be a sign that your first period is around the corner. Time to start wearing pads and change them often. I think I remember a lot of discharge (even acidy discharge) before my first period. it's probably cervical mucus... girls start producing it about a year or so before they get their first period, and women have it at any time their not on their period. When a woman is ovulating she produces about 10-15 times as much and it's clearish. IT doesn't have anything to do with the vagina cleaning itself or you would have got it when you were younger. It's part of puberty and it aids in sex. |
