What would a amall lump be inside the lip of my vagina? cyst?boil? Its under the skin and the size of a pea.?

I am very clean and have never had any health problems of this sort. I'm scheduled for my obgyn in the morning but I'm so filled with fear of the unknown. I know I have no "diseases." I've been with one man for the last 5 years..I have two wonderful children and I'm 40 years old. I"m so frightened, dont know how I'm going to survive this night.it's beneath my pubic hair just where the vaginal lips begin..sorta next to the upper part of my clitoris, to the left of it..omg...how embarrassing....waaaa! my uncle just had a boil in his groin and he had to have it lanced. has anyone ever heard of a tumor of this type? how could something like this happen vertually overnight....I've had this about aweek in a half. You cannot see anything on the outside of the skin. I've had cystic type pimples beneath my facial skin once in a while..this feels kinda like the same thing...I am beat red in writing this please help me...thank you and I will be of great service to anyones questions they have.

It seems you body produces cystic type pimples & it seems to run in your family. I think it's the same thing, only it is on the lip of your vagina. They might have to lance it as well, or use some topical creme to remedy the problem. So, don't be frightened & go see your doc.

i had a boil on my vagina. i was so scared! i felt dirty and gross. i went to the doctor and he told me they are caused by pretty much anything because the skin is so sensitive. he said in my case it was from shaving with a not so clean razor. it was a little bigger than a pea, and it was gone in about a week. i'm sure its nothing to worry about. he just told me to hold a warm compress on it 3 times a day.
