heard of a dr. making such a diag from something similar??? The bleeding happened because of the cancer, the bleeding did not cause her to get cancer. Bleeding was the clue for the doctor to check for cancer. Bleeding is a very common reason to check for cancer: they check for lung cancer when someone is coughing up blood, cancer of the intestines when you have blood in your stool, and cancer of the womb when you have vaginal bleeding. There is really not any other reason that she would be bleeding. Women go through menopause in their 40s or 50s, so bleeding after a women has stopped having periods is almost always cancer. If she is weak and frail, she may not be strong enough to handle a biopsy. Report It yes, don't forget she would have gone through menopause over 40 years ago. |
