What are the signs of vaginal cancer? I have a brown color discharge? |
I have this strong smelly oder with the brown discharge. no pain , no itching. Brown discharge typically means old blood that the body is just trying to get rid of. Any foul vaginal odor indicates that some type of infection is going on. Please see your doctor for an exam and testing to determine what type of infection is going on. Depending on the type of infection, your partner may also need to be treated. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYuk dont ask us, just go straight to the doctor! Are you sure you have not got a forgotten tampon, this is the most likely cause. If this is the case remove it and douch with vinegar and water, that should fix the problem. If not, you should see a dr. It is unlikely to be cancer, there are lots of yeast type infections that cause odourous discharges and are very easily cleared up with a course of antibiotics so don't start panicking. I am sorry but you really shouldn't go into details sometimes, anyways you truly need to go to the doctors for this, or in your case a gynecologist, or consult with both, best of luck to you Maybe she wanted to get our opinions on what could be the problem with her.. from.. oh I don't know.. someone who has experianced the same thing... And, if she doesn't go into details how are we supposed to help her? This is after all, the womens health section... People need to grow up... TMI.............get it looked at! Definatley go see a doctor. There are even things called fistulas which is a tunneling between the vagina and rectum. Most likely you don't have one, they are more common in olderr patients, BUT see a doctor, good luck! Smells really fishy and brown or grey/black discharge. You have trichomonasis. One pill from the doctor is all you need. Flagyl. Ok, some people need to grow up when it comes to giving answers. If they aren't mature enought to give real answers they should just not answer. In any case, Nurse Anni is right. I had a similar problem and my doc took care of it fast. The brown stuff was only old blood and the oder was from a slight yeast infection even though I had no itching or other common issues associatated with yeast infections. No matter what, don't freak out but do see your gyno. If you leave it untreated it might go away on it's own but belive me it will come back and it might actually be worse. Good luck! If this is just after your period your body is just cleaning out. If it resolves right up you are okay. If it persists go to your doctor and get checked. It could be an infection that caused irritation and the brown is blood. It is good to talk about stuff like this that goes on with your body. If is about your health. Do not listen to those people who are ignorant on here. Just get it checked to be sure and have no shame in it. The body gets out of ballance and gets bacterial and fungal infections and they are not your fault. There is no fault in healthcare. It is probably not cancer, but infections are serious in themsevles and can lead to other problems so it is best to get them treated and they are easy to treat with medications either given orally or topically in most instances. |
