I had been menopause for 4 yrs. I found I had blood in my vaginal 3 days ago. Am I having cervic cancer? |
I am 55 yrs old, married with 3 children. I had my pat smear done 1 yr ago. The only way that you will know for sure what is causing the bleeding is to see a doctor and have them check it out. was it red (fresh) or old (brown)? either way see a dr. if it was fresh, it could be a tear, since the vaginal walls are weak and easy to damage. If it was brown, run, don't walk to the dr. Stop wasting your time on this forum. My suggestion is to see a physician as soon as possible.Don't wait.Good luck. This is something that you should not play with, I think you should seek out medical attention from a professional. I would go to the doctor ASAP it could be anything. That doesn't matter you I wouldn't be to worried. My friend had menopause and was over with it for a long time and she had started bleeding again for a week straight. It was just something that had to get out and that was the way. All women bodies are different and one never knows what can happen and why. Do go get checked out by your doctor but don't worry untill he tells you for sure what it is. Take Care. Just go to your gyno. It could be all kinds of things, but probably something more mundane like a ruptured cyst or simply uterine bleeding. Post menopausal bleeding is an indication for a D&C to rule out endometrial cancer. Did you have intercourse 3 days ago before you found the blood. Have you been diagnosed with HPV? Generally that could develop into cervical cancer. Very common virus, not detected by a pap smear. Some people have no symptoms. If you have then it could be a means to be concerned a little more. However, either way you must see a doctor. Luckily that's how I knew something wasn't right and I caught signs of cancer early and kicked it's a** I am a 16 month survivor!! Be strong and see a doctor, till then don't worry too big, it could be a number of things. Woman are just complex that way unfortunately. |
