Vaginal leaking?

Some mornings when I wake up, I feel like I have urinated or started my period again, but when I go to the bathroom, it's just clear and watery. I continue to "leak" all day. At times I have to change my underwear because I have leaked so much. I have had pretty normal periods, so I don't think I'm pregnant. I had to go to the emergency room for pelvic pain and they said my cervix was irritated and began to talk about HPV and cervical cancer. Cancer runs in my family, so this worried me. This has been going on for a while. Should I get it checked out, or is it really nothing to worry about?

Yes, get it checked out. While all girls have a natural discharge and even have to wear pantyliners.... and it's normal to leak mucus, the fact that the doctor noticed your cervix was irritated and mentioned HPV and you have a family history of it..... check it before it's untreatable.

Drink cranberry juice, that clears out the cervix.

Have a smear, if all is OK, don't worry about it

I would ask your doctor...not yahoo contributors.

THATS NOT NORMAL GO TO A DOCTOR

try to get some docto's help.

it is normal to have discharge from the vagina, but i'm not so sure about as often as you say.
you should definitly get it checked out again.

= normal, healthy vagina

Do you think this happens during the time that you're ovulating? Because it could be from ovulation.

By all means, call your doctor and ask, that is what they are there for.

Good luck.

Considering your personal case and your family history i would not hesitate to go to the doctor.

I strongly recommend you go and see your doctor.
It may not be something to worry about but, then again, it could be.

Good luck and Best wishes.

I would get it checked out because it sounds like you may have an infection! Pipes eventually burst because of leaks!

anything like that should ALWAYS be checked out. anything thing that has to do with that region shoulod be taken with caution-serious or not

Even if nothing is wrong you defintely need to go to the doctors. There is something going on whether it's nothing or something you should defintely consult your doctor... your doctor will be able to figure it out and hopefully fix it. I'm pretty sure that a "leaky" vagina isn't normal so I'd get the first available appointment! Good luck and I'll pray for you!

Its probably some infection... if your sexually active you might of got HPV... its not that bad and can be treated with antibiotics

You need to get a pap smear with possible biopsis to determine if you have changing cells in your parts.... if so it does not mean its cancer and the doctor will remove these cells before they spread... then you just need to be checked ever 3-6 months.

Go get a pap smear.

Dont be worried. Its just the vagina cleaning itself out.

I have the same problem.... just like you every day... I seen a Dr. she said its normal .. you just have more (something) i forget what that word is..... I HATE IT my friends don't have it as bad as me so i always thot there was something wrong but i Guss not ..hope that help you =]
