Anybody else had yellow vaginal discharge????

I have been tested for stds and screened for cancer and smear test negative. I have a ovarian cyst that could be effecting my hormones. My gp is sending me for a laproscopy. It does not hurt or sting. It is like yellow egg white and allot of it. (gross) Anybody else know what is causing it? Never had anything like this before.

It does not smell. GP said it could be BV and has treated me for that. still no change.

Yellow Vaginal Discharge
A yellow vaginal discharge or foul-smelling vaginal discharge are signs of a serious abnormality, which may require cryotherapy. Depending on the cause of the condition, a doctor will prescribe necessary medicines. The symptoms of vaginitis include itching and burning in the genital area, swelling of the lips of the vagina, smelly secretions of yellowish-green, discomfort, and sometimes pain on urination

Good luck! ;D

Yes. It can be two things. 1) change in hormones or 2) Bacterial Vaginosis. The later can be cured with antibiotics.

No, it sounds horrible and I hope that there is no smell with it. Seek another physician because there has to be some type of infection within your body that is creating the pus from your vagina. Have blood testing and other test done and get a complete examination. This doesn't sound good or healthy.

It could be an infection, which will present it self that way perhaps another visit to your GP will enlighten things.

Ohhh boy! I have NO clue but I hope you get better soon;)

possibly a yeast infection. alot of discharges are brought on by a yeast infection.

It could be an infection - yeast infection - go to your doctor to get antibiotics...

It could be your body naturally cleaning itself, a yeast infection, or some other kind of infection. If you have been to the doctors recently, and they have found nothing then its probably just your body cleaning itself out. A cyst would not cause that to happen unless it popped, but then you would bleed. I would check with your doctor either when you go back, or durring your next pap.

This happens to me for about 2 days before I ovulate. Same color and there is a lot, but it is consistently happening every month at the same time. Nothing is wrong with me, which may be why your dr. says you're okay.
