How do you know if you have this? |
I just wanna know how do you know when you have Cancer in your vaginal area? And how can you prevent it? There has to be away! I don't have it but just wanna know before hand type thing! So I know what to expect and how to prevent it! The doctor does a pap smear to screen for abnormal cells. Getting a smear every 2-3 years is advisable if you're above 18 and sexually active. The only way you can know for sure if you have cancer of any kind is to go to your doctor. A pap smear can usually detect HPV (human papillomavirus), which causes cervical cancer. HPV is a sexually transmitted virus, and can be transmitted even with perfect condom use. Many variations cause warts or skin problems, others cause pre-cancerous cells to form. |
