Can a hepatitisb vaccination 2 weeks after exposure to hiv effect the time of the hiv antibody being detected?

Someone please help me!!! I've had a possible HIV exposure about 7 weeks ago. After the 1.5 weeks after the possible exposure, i went for a HIV antibody blood test, it came back negative. surely its not accurate. I've also had a hepatitisB blood test together with the HIV test. The HepB test shows that i do not have a HepB vaccination yet. so straight away i took a 1st shot of the 3 injections of the HepB vaccination, that was 2 weeks after the possible HIV exposure. I took a HIV blood test again 6 weeks after the possible exposure, it came back negative. Now whats bugging me is that "DOES THE HEPATITIS B VACCINATION I TOOK HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE HIV ANTIBODY NOT BEING DETECTED AT 6 WEEKS AFTER EXPOSURE??" I knew about the window period for HIV antibody detection is around 4-6 weeks.. I've asked the Doctor, he said im fine. Now i just can't settle down with the thoughts that the HepB vaccination is hiding the HIV antibodies from being detected... pleeeeeease help m

Two different antigens.... The reason for a three series Hep B injections is because that is how many innoculants it takes to get the antibodies. Some times it may require a titer.
HIV, it is a virus, totally different.
If your HIV test came back neg and you were exposed, you should go back for a second test in about six months, if it comes back neg, I would suggest for safety's sake, one more test, then consider your self neg. Unless you contiune to have unprotected sex. Then you are asking for a whole set of issues, questions and uncertainities.

I find a HIV blog and community online place. http://www.positivesingles.com...
People are enthusiastic to answer every question. Maybe you can ask there. Report It

There is no way will the Hep B vaccination hide the HIV virus
