Birth control vaccination? |
i'm planning on getting the birth control vaccination, and it's every 3 months, i just don't like taking pills. Anyone out there that is on this vaccination? Does it work? i mean anything bad happen sense you got it? It is not by definition a "vaccination" it is simply a hormone shot to keep you from ovulating... It has similar side effects and risks as the birth control pill - just a different way of administering it If you are talking about the depo shot Yes I have had that, It was great once in the hip once every three months my leg hair didn't grow fast at all and my skin was clear of breakouts, I didn't have a period but here was the reason I stopped taking it after three years I gained about 45 pounds in that three years. I don't know if the shot was to blame or not. I have heard it does cause slight weight gain but if you can afford to gain it is worth it. Well, just looking at the vocabulary, you are likely to get better answers with correct words: A vaccination takes care of a virus and is permanent. If for birth control, it has got to be a shot. And considering how powerful hormones are in controlling the body, it would have to be a pretty powerful shot and have some strange side effects. I think you need to do more than ask here. The Depovera shot, on many occasions, can make the female gain weight (anywhere from 5-20 lbs.) |
