HPV vaccination side effects???

I'm a 13 year old girl in 8th grade and I just got the 2nd shot for the vaccination of HPV. The first time I was fine, just a little dizzy, when I got it. Today when i went back, I fainted and was out for a few minutes. Now I am really sad and I don't understand why because I am not depressed and suicidal anymore. I was really happy earlier then once I got the shot I was overcome with a deep sadness.

Is this a side affect of the shot?
What are the side effects of the shot?
Can anyone tell me more about the shot?

All my mother and doctor told me was that it helped prevent some types of ceverical cancer.
