Is it okay to give vaccination if....?

the baby has a cold? My one-year old's Hep-A,Influenza and Chickenpox vaccines are due this week. But,she has got a slight cold.Should I go ahead with the vaccination or wait till she gets better? Will the cold hav any adverse effect on the vaccine in her body? Pls advise.Thnx..

The practice varies from center to center. Where I work, colds (with clear nasal discharge) itself is not a contraindication, but fever and coloured nasal discharge are treated first. Idea is that if the child is already febrile and vaccine gives mild illness in the form of fever, temperature may shoot high.
Hope it helps.
Good luck!

u can go with the vaccination without any fear , cold is not a contraindication to these vaccination
