One of my pigeons neck has bloated out after vaccination..probably hit air sack,,has anyone any cures for this |
after vaccination,, the pigeons neck feels like a baloon,,the pigeon is very healthy and it does not seem to be affecting him,,,the droppings are perfect,,if i hit an air sack is there a way for me to cure this as he cannot race in this condition....THANKS..MICK. ...vaccinated against papamoxy virus as standard... You need to take it to a vet, it sounds as if you did the vaccination yourself...you need to get it checked properly. there could be many reasons. It could be an air sac as you are saying, although i cannot imagine where this air could have come from. Or it could be like a sort of blister....filled with tissue fluid. Anyways take him to the vet while he is still unaffected by it...its a good thing that his droppings are no different and his behavior is normal. Take advantage of this and go to a vet asap before it gets worse. get it in the pie! |
