Parents in the uk do you doubt our vaccination system?

my son had his men c in july and cold like symptoms for 5days after. when i mentioned this to my health visitor, she was like oh no there are no side effects from vaccines, its completely different he must of had it before.
on thursday, he was supposed to have his MMR. i refused it. so he just had his pneumococcal. now my sons leg is swollen twice the size of what it was on the site of the jab and its got a red blotch the size of a strawberry. my son cried on thursday - never before has he cried at a vaccine.
since moving doctors, i have been unhappy with the person who gives my son his vaccines. the lady who did them at my old doctors drew them up in front of me and i felt safe with him having them done there. the new health visitor has lied about vaccine statistics to my face, given vaccines to my son in what i believe to be an unprofessional way, and because she has given me such poor information, i now doubt the whole vaccination system. does anyone feel the same?

he can have them if they're necessary, but he will never have mmr - maybe the single shots when hes older, but i will never give the mmr cocktail to my son. i've researched too much to change my mind on that one.

I have a son he has had no problems with is vacs, however some people react differently which sounds like this is your sons case a mild reaction maybe?

I would wait until he is totally over this vac and then get him in for the other, they really do need them hunny

Good Luck x

also have you also recearched the dangers of not letting him have the mmr i think you will find its much safer to given than not to the risks are bad if he doesnt have
