I've read sometime ago something about an antipolio vaccination using monkey cells lines.
I'm going to look for this origin hypotesis on PUBMED but... can you suggest to me scientific articles about this controversial origin?

There are several stories about the origin of HIV (AIDS isn't actually the virus, its the condition the body is in once the HIV virus has made the immune system weak), and honestly no one knows where the virus originated. I've even heard fables about men (such as explorers) not having a female to have sex with, and then doing it with a monkey (sounds made up to me but you never know). What we do know is the virus wasn't originally in a form that could effect humans, but it mutated. With modern science I know that one day we'll be able to track the disease, but right now we just don't know.. |
