Ladies, anyone had uterine fibroids? |
Waht are the symptoms to help relieve the pain? I am taking iron tablets and multivitamins but my flow during periods seems to be getting heavier and weirder... I am so frustrated. I got feedback from my supervisor saying that I am away from my desk too often. I said I have health issues so I can't help it so she said get doc's note. My cycles get so heavy some days I have to leave my desk every hour and a half and I have to pee often because of the fibroids. I talked to nurse at clinic today and she gave me a hard time and was talking like she didn't believe me but reluctantly agreed to give me the note. I really can't help this. I am in some kind of pain nearly everyday and don't want to live my life in the bathroom. Yes, I had them and my periods got heavier and heavier, and longer..but what I did was talk to my gyno and he did a D&C an removed them all..it was outpatient and didnt really feel any pain afterwards... talk to your doctor you may want to go to a gyno tho. let him know that your peirods are very heavy and long ask about the D& C.. I promise you that your life will get back to normal..take midols for the meantime... Yes I have uterine fibroids, and they can be very painful very very painful as a matter of fact. I had to end up having a hystorectomy at the age of 25, but that was along time ago, they now try to treat them with laser. Good luck. Motrin may relieve some of the pain. |
