Are there any natural remedies that help reduce/shrink uterine fibroids?

MY daughter has these fibroid tumors, there is nothing you can do to reduce or shrink them, they go away on their own or you can have surgery. She is in quite a bit of pain at times from them but, wants to wait a while to see if they pass on their own. They also make her have heavier periods. The doctor discovered them last August.
