I had uterine cancer 3 years ago. I had a complete hysterectomy. I have pain again.?

I have been going to my followup appointments. I checked out fine last May. In December they found another mass of something. They decided to wait to see how much it had grown in May. It hadn't grown. Now I am having significant pain. They tell me that if I have cancer they won't do anything. The chemo and radiation have damaged my insides. The doctors want me to wait until May. What should I do?

You need to make an appointment and get back in to see them. If they cannot do anything, I would then get a second opinion before accepting this diagnosis. You need some more testing to find out what is currently going on and probably a prescription for some pain medication. In the meantime, I would be taking pain medication of some sort until my doctor's appointment. Hopefully, you are going to an oncologist, not a general practitioner.

Many women that have undergone hysterectomy surgery suffer from adhesion within three to five years, which is a build up of scar tissue in and around the surgery site. In fact, my cousin's wife has just had adhesion removed, along with a small section of her colon that the scar tissue had attached itself to since her hysterectomy. The surgeon told her that she will likely have to go through it again in another five years.
Perhaps that is all it is. If you do not mind, "Lord, please put your hand on this dear lady, and help her as only you can. You breathed life into her, and I know that it is no big thing for you to heal her, if it is within your will. All glory goes to you, Father. A healing for her would glorify your name, and let her know beyond a doubt that you are God. In Christ's name I ask this. Amen."

You certainly have had your share of cancer , surgery, and chemo. I can't believe you are in pain again. I don't think I
would want them to wait. UNLESS, they know something and are not telling you. I would demand that they check it out so if I am in trouble, they would have time to treat me.
I wonder if they knew last year that they didn't get all? An explanation is definitely in order. My heart goes out to you.
Good Luck!
