27 YR Old on my period since April HELP!!!?

I'm 27 and have been having my period since April. I've tried horomones, they didn't work neither did the pill. The doctor wants to do uterine abalation on me and I don't want it because a history of uterine cancer in my family. This procedure increases your chances for cancer. I am becoming very ill because of it all. I want a hysterectomy but the doctors say I am too young. I have one child he's 7 and I don't want anymore. What can I do to get the doctor to listen, I feel terrible all the time with cramps, fatigue, and I have leg cramps. I am extremely anemic and the iron makes me sick. Any Suggestions. Any one know a doctor in Bham AL area that will help me?

I want to keep my ovaries to prevent the early menapause.

I feel for you girl. I am the same age as you, and a few years ago I they did explorative surgery to see if I had endometriosis. I was bleeding alot and had unbelievable pain. I just want to tell you I am praying for you and hope you feel better really soon. Did you do internet searches for your area for doctors? Or could you call 1-800-doctors? Get a second opinion. Eat lots of red meat. Liversausage is good. Trust in God to get you through this.

Hysterectomies bring on Menopause so if you think you feel bad now...imagine if you had menopause to deal with. Keeping your reproductive system isn't just to keep your fertility...it keeps your quality of life. I've been through some very difficult times as far as urology and gynecology goes. And there were times that I was desperate to have all that sh*t removed. But I have healed. So be very patient and be very strong willed. And go to every follow up appointment. You will get better.
