Where can I find a support group?

My mom was recently diagnosed with metastatic uterine cancer in her lungs and her prognosis is not good. Where can I find an online support group for people who are dealing wih watching their loved ones die of cancer?

Call your local hospital. They should have a list of them.I am very sorry for you.I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

another suggestion would be to speak with her mother's physician. During the conversation, express your concerns to him or her.

I know how difficult it is to watch a loved one slip aware

I wish you the very best luck possible in this seemingl

I have found a support site for lung cancer sufferers and families. Hope this helps you. I am not religious but I have special thoughts going for you and your family. Take care, and I hope this helps

go to www.careplace.com/communities .this is a great site to link with many people who tell their stories and will answer questions directly.

so sorry. i watched my sister die of breast cancer. i understand what you are going through. check your local directory for one... tho i found that keeping a journal really helped. there are good days and bad and well there is a very hard road ahead. i am currently writing a book to try and help people dealing with cancer, whether they have it or someone the love has it. talk to your mom. find out what she wants in the end. ask her to write you letters for down the road. take pictures, videos. these things will help later on. and for goodness sake cry!! it feels good. if you need someone to talk to or to vent to or a shoulder to cry on... e-mail me at anytime.
