Does anyone know of anyone who survived multiple surgeries due to internal bleeding? |
My 35 yr old sister has uterine cancer-they already removed her uterus, ovaries part of her private and entire bladder. She survived the life-threatening 10 hr surgery but now has abdominal hematoma (internal bleeding) in her abdomen & the doctors don't know why this keeps happening. It has been several weeks since the surgery and they have to keep opening her up to clean out the old blood clots. She is getting very weak. She already said '..I don't know how much more of this I can take'. -this will keep recurring if the doctors don't figure out why this keeps happening! Any info. may help!! I have no real answers, but I can only pray that it stops soon! It's so hard to tell how internal bleeding will affect the patient, b/c nothing's for sure. But stay strong and keep on supporting her. My heart goes out to your family. |
