You need to see an allergist to see what you're reacting to. Also, consider a dermatologist, they may be able to help. Has anyone prescribed a steroid like prednisone? I've had some success with that. Also, try flax seed capsules. This is a natural remedy that may help you.

Good luck.

Sounds like you need to go see a good dermatologist. Did they load you up on any prednisone? You might trying taking some H2 blockers ie: Zantac, Prilosec etc. You might also try some OTC benadryl (diphenhydramine). I find it kind of funny that you only have them in the evenings and into the late morning. Stress can also play a role in giving you uticaria. Are you going home to something that stresses you out? Anyways you might go to a dermatologist and have them test you for allergens just to be on the safe side. Good luck.

You haven't said what is causing your urticaria. Urticaria has many different causes. Some people get it by simply walking from outside where it is warm, to an inside temperature that may be cooler do the air conditioning. The opposite can also apply. It also happens to people who take cold or excessively hot showers. The hives are caused by something in your daily routine or environment. Find out what it is, and control it.

hives are definitely an allergic reaction. in order to get the right medication, there is a need to pinpoint what you are allergic too. there is a test called the scratch test wherein the doc specifically an allergologist doctor will scratch several things on the skin and it will determine food, medication and all allergies. it really helps for allergic persons. then he will give a maintainance medication that to take in case any allergic reaction will arise. :-) allergies could be dangerous but they are very manageable once you know what you are allergic too. :-) God bless you. your baby should get this test. it's usually available on with an allergologist doctor and in some hospitals too.
