Chronic Urticaria? |
Does anyone have this or know any treatment . Basically its very itchy unbelievably unconfortable hives on the skin that are caused by warm artifical (heater) temperature or very active physical motion . ( running , heavy lifting ; etc ) Without seeing it, it sounds like exercise induced urticaria. The warm temp. mimics the basal body temp increase with exercise. You can take anti-histamines like claritin (over the counter), allegra, zyrtec, etc. to help prevent the hives. I would talk with your doctor to confirm the diagnosis and think about trying one of those medicines. I had chronic urticaria a few years ago. I tried everything, with very little relief. My doctors were good for antihistimines, but little else. |
