Acute urticaria...anyone else out there suffer from this? |
My husband has had this condition for years. He has been to dozens of doctors, and tried a plethra of drugs. We even went to the Mayo clinic for help. Needless to say, they still dont know why he gets these hives, and no real cure for them either. He has stumped the medical world. Wow, I thought I was just a freak! If he has recurrent urticaria going on for years, it's not acute but considered CHRONIC. Check out the website www.chronichives.com Report It i have a friend who suffers from this condition, not acute anymore, it's more of chronic urticaria.it's been 4-5 years, on and off, sometimes really bad, sometimes mild. been to many doctors, no known cause. have suffered from hives for long periods almost all my life.i am 70 yrs. old. from various things, infected tonsils., infected sinus, exposure to dog, foods, desentization, pred paks, antihistimines, time and avoidance are the only things that have helped. three times i have had them for 18 months. |
