How is the best way to change and clean up for an urostomy?

Is it best to clean it up in the bath? we dry it when he comes out of the bath with the hair drier, but it is all so messy. Anyone got in better ideas please

I assume he has a stoma and a pouch? Unfortunately its not the nicest thing in the world to have - particularly for the patient who feels degraded and embarrassed by it. I would suggest you discuss this in depth with his stoma nurse, who should be able to give you some other options that may be easier for you to deal with.
