I need information on the exact surgical technique used to create a urostomy?

how long should the piece of intestine be, and if it is too long and not angled right is that a flaw in the surgery or is considered a complication of surgery?

You don't say what kind of issue your having.

I have no problem with mine.
There are some cases where it "shrinks" or subsides and becomes "convex". There are special flanges made for those cases. Mine is well outside the skin line.

I use "Coloplast". They make the different types. They're on the Internet.

...Nice question. This one stumped me, but, i think the appropriate place to find out all about this is...

good luck.

Go to med school and you'll learn everything you need to know AND may even get the license to do it yourself.

Good Lord! I hope your not studying up for a surgery you plan to perform in the morning. Did you do bad in anatomy and physiology during your surgical residency. This surgery takes hours. You have to practice, practice, practice.
I don't mean to be offensive or hurt your feelings, but this question is just crazy. You sorta remind me or sound like a car salesman trying to be a brain surgeon.
Ask the surgeon. They are notoriously truthful and if he had problems he will tell you the truth. No joking. These physicians spend hours doing surgical residency and then nit wits like you come along. Wow! your boggle my mind.
