Will Vicodin Show up on Routine Blood/Urine tests?

By some strange twist of fate, i came into posession of an entire bottle of Vicodin (not perscribed to me) I ended up taking the entire bottle in about 3 days (about 20-30 pills) so i obviously had a lot in my system.

I'm pretty new to drus use, especially Perscription and OTC stuff so i'm pretty naive about all this. The problem is: my parents are bringing me into the doctor in a few days for a routine check-up where they'll be doing blood/urie tests for sure. My question is...
1. Will drug use show up on these tests unless they're specifically doing a drug test. and...
2. Does vicodin even show up on a drug test? ( i know it's an opiate and i'm really worried it'll show up as me doing heroin or something!)

if they do a drug test, then vicodin will show up. however, in a routine check-up they dont check for drugs. even if they did, its confidential and they couldnt tell your parents or anyone else

Okay, first off, they will tell your parents if you fail a drug test if you're UNDER 18.

Secondly, you said in a few days they're taking you in? Vicodin generally will only stay in your system for 3-5 days. And you said you took almost thirty pills. So if you REALLY want to make sure you don't get anything to show up, go to a head shop and by some kind of body cleaning kit. They're expensive but they work.

If not, just chug water and cranberry juice hardcore until you go in. That'll clean your system out faster.

Yes, vicodin, as a synthetic opiate, will and would MOST definitely show up on a drug test, IF they were testing for drugs. I do agree with almost everything everyone else has said here and wish to remind you that an average of 10 tabs of vicodin per day is an IMMENSE amount, and that as Vicodin is a synthetic opiate, were you to overdose on it, you could simply go to sleep and never be heard from again, especially if you are tiny, and especially if you persist in using this very dangerous drug irresponsibly. Enough said.

Routine blood and urine tests do not screen for drugs. They are more interested in your hemoglobin and sugar levels.
