No period, 3 negative pregnancy tests, negative urine test, Whats wrong?

Just this past month (Oct) me and my boyfriend have been having sex regularily (at least 3 times a week and unprotected sex ..i know i know, i told him to get a condom but he doesnt listen!). I havent had my period for the month of October and Ive done 3 pregnancy test which came out as "not pregnant" I went to the doctor's office, did a urine test which came out negative and he wants me to go for another one (WHY when its negative??) My period has been over two and a half weeks late, whats wrong with me?!!

My stomach feels bloated and the I am a university student which means stressed because ive had a lot of exams/tests making me stressed...

OK i know i've made a mistake with unprotected sex, lets move on from that...

Sometimes it's poor health. Not dangerous health but maybe just being worn down. And, if he doesn't listen when you say use a condom, refuse. If he can't take the responsibility to buy a simple condom, how can he handle the responsibility of an unplanned baby.

If he he won't, you'll have to by either supplying them yourself, or better yet. Not giving in.

Turns out i wasnt pregnant, my period just decided to skip a month-my doctors say it was become i was more sexually active than usual. Report It

You may be stressing over the whole pregnancy thing, stress will postpone your period. STOP having unprotected sex if you do not want to be a mommy!!!! If he won't use a condom and you don't take birth control then don't have sex, show a little self control or you will end up pregnant.

A negative test may just mean that the hormone the test measures hasn't reached a certain level yet, so a negative can be incorrect. How about NO CONDOM, NO SEX! You can say no, and if he freaks, he's not worth keeping. You may be preganat. If he isn't responsible enough to wear a condom, how will he be as a father? How old are you? Don't give a guy sex to keep him. No guy is worth that. Good luck.

For some women they can go almost 4 months with a negative on a pregnancy test regardless that they are indeed pregnant. For some reason the HCG hormone is not concentrated enough to be picked up. You need to get a blood test to know for sure.
If not pregnant your period could be late due to stress, diet, exercise, medication or hormone imbalance.

Some times pregnancy hormones don't manifest on those type of pregnancy test...
So your doc may want to take blood test.

could be stress...that can do crazy things to our bodies! But go get that second test anyway.

And also, if you tell you're b/f to use a condom and he's not listening to you, that says alot about him and his priorities!

the doctor wants to be sure because false negatives are not unusual. You should take the responsibility for birth control if you are not trying to get pregnant. There is this beautiful word "NO" if he doesn't have the condom. I suggest you buying them for him.

hey.. calm down.. the doctor might want to o further to discover whats wrong..were u having ur period regularly before this happened?

girl.. sometimes i skip a month of my period.. this may be due to hormonal imbalances.. it might have been triggered by the frequent sex u had.. just calm down and observe whats happening to ur body.. and it might be better to follow what the doctor says..

I'd stick with the doctor's advice and get one more test to be sure, but I bet your doctor has given you some other reasons why your period would be late. For example, if you are younger than 25 or so, your period can just "hiccup" and skip a month, no foul. Or if you have a low Body Mass Index (BMI), you've been overexercising, or dieting, you could have starved yourself to the point where your body think it's unhealthy and retaliates by holding the cycle back. Ask your doctor - I'm sure he can help you think of other reasons why you wouldn't have a period and still not be pregnant.
If nothing else, consider it a scary lesson and use protection!

I'm thinking it's just hormonal imbalance like my ob-gyne told me. I also did the same. Had an unprotected contact and missed my period for over 3 months and had been negative in the tests. So she prescribed me something and my period came. Go see your ob-gyne and ask if she can prescribe you the same.

Also ask if you could use some pills. if your boyfriend doesn't listen to your worries [but walking away is still off the table] then you should be the one to do some adjustments. look after yourself. protect yourself from unwanted pregnancy and spare yourself from this nagging worry about whether or not you are pregnant. i can totally relate to you.

It might be stress from you thinking you are pregnant and thats why its late.

I may not be a girl but I have had those scares before(understandably it DOES feel better without but everyone is saying with to be responsible people, i say forget them if you want to do it with or without do live your life your way, just own up to whatever happens) anyways, sex changes a persons hormones and body chemistry, and the stressing over the not having one might worsen it, sometimes it would take 2 months before my ex would get her period. heres a key sign though; if you start to through up when you wake up in the morning, well...i hope your old enough :)

Your doctor wants you to go for another test because tests can have false negatives, especially early in the pregnancy.

It's time to scare the cr*p out of your boyfriend. Have you told him you may be pregnant? Start picking out names with him. Make it real! He may be one of these inconsiderate guys who thinks it's not his problem because you can just terminate the pregnancy. Scare him that you won't (even if that's what you would do).

If you are old enough to have sex, then you are mature enough to take responsibility for it, right? You can't have one without the other. No more sex until you get this figured out. Either get condoms, EVERY time, or get on birth control pills.

Well, I think your doctor wants you wait a little longer. There are some tests out there that will "work" within a few days of your missed period. But, it is not really a proven fact for all women. It could also be a sign of stress with your exams and all. Your young, right? I am young myself and I am never exact on my period. It could be you have a lot going on. Try to relax and not think about it. But, if you are pregnant, Congrats! Take care!
