If you put iodized salt into a urine sample and quickly stirr it will tests negative for THC? |
This is the deal, I mixed two small restaurant sized packets of iodized salt in a urine sample for a drug test and I am wondering if it's really going to work. I smoked about three weeks ago and I've been working out and drinking a lot of water as well. They will probably make you re-test. They aren't stupid. They are going to know you tampered with it and now will be more suspicious of you. Wow. I'm pretty sure they'll notice something weird. Adding salt to the urine in these quantities puts the specific gravity or density out of the normal range which indicates potential tampering. Two packets of salt will usually not dissolve and will show up on the bottom of the sample. This may force a re-test. Dude, if it was three weeks ago and you weren't smoking all day every day for the month before that, you'll be fine. THC stores in the fatty tissue for about a month AT MOST. That is, if you compare yourself to Bob Marley up until three weeks ago, you might get a dirty drop. But otherwise, especially with the part about drinking lots of water, you should be just fine. |
