Why a 2-day drug test?(urine)?

I'm getting life insurance, I had to take a mini physical, and I had a urine test. They told me to drink tons of water b4 the test which I did, when I went in the cup, my urine was clear as Dasani. Now they called and said they want a 2 day urine test, 2 tests over 2 days. ANyone know why? I honestly have taken no drugs, and I'm wondering why they would do this. Only thing I can think of is urine was super diluted from water.

Your first urine sample was too dilute. Most labs also test for a muscle breakdown product called creatinine. If your creatinine level was too low (because you drank too much fluid beforehand) they want to retest it to make sure you weren't diluting it on purpose. For insurance purposes they'll test for many substances besides drugs of abuse, such as nicotine and prescription drugs.

don't know did they ask you to drink lots of water again. Do you smoke.. They mighjt be checking for nicatine in the urine.
