Why do i get so many urinary tract infections? |
i seem to get urinary tract infections all the time, especially since I started dating my new boyfriend. with my last boyfriend i didn't seem to get them as often. why do i seem so prone to them and what could it be about my new boyfriend that causes more than usual? Thanks! Women are more often get UTI then man as a result of female urinary tract anatomy. You can't do anything about anatomy, but you can try to prevent recurennce of infection. He needs to wash himself more, thats why your getting them more, your just prone to infection. I am to i get them A LOT yeast infections, kidney infections, lung infections, too. Its a immune thing. Just tell your doctor whats up and he/she will medicate you. There are several different causes for UTI's, but because you mention the new boyfriend, I would suspect it's a change in your sex habits. Make sure to go to the bathroom after every "session" and try to "clean up" a little bit. Sex can push bacteria into the uretrha leading to UTI's, urinating after sex, helps to clean out some of that bacteria. over abundance of sex! the gyno told me, the more frequent sex, the more likey hood of getting a uti! Honey I am in the same boat. I just had one a month ago got rid of it and its back! See my question too. If I had a answer I would tell you! |
