Is there a connection between chronic urinary tract infections and infertility in women? |
I have reoccurring, chronic urinary tract infections. I've had doctors tell me that it is leading to scarring on my uterus and it is going to be hard to get pregnant. Unfortunately, urinary tract infections can cause infertility. The infection can spread from the urinary tract to the reproductive system and just get worse from there. There are many other reasons for scarring of the uterus as well. There is a connection between recurring UTIs and infertility. |
