What is a vitamin I can take to ward off yeast and urinary tract infections? |
I seem to get yeast and urinary tract infections very easily. What is something i could get at the health food store to prevent them?? Thanks! Yogurt is great in attacking those nasty yeast infections. The live and active cultures in them work wonders. As for the urinary tract infections they say that Cranberry Juice works, you can get it concentrated if you don't like to drink the juice. Slow down on yeasts in food, white breads, chocolate. Eat yogurt. These are not vitamins per se, but to ward off urinary tract infections drink cranberry juice. Not a vitamin, but a mineral, Silver Shield. This new patented colloidal silver has been proven to kill all known bacteria, virus, yeast and fungus. I was prone to UTIs, but I now use Silver Shield instead of going to the doctor for antibiotics. Hi, I had UTI once and drank glasses of no sugar cranberry juice for about 6x a day. It was totally gone after 3 days. I have always had excellent luck with parsely tea - it is extremely inexpensive & has always been effective for me. I have a compromised immune system & got tired of antibiotics, and one day Susan Powters said to clean one bunch of parsely (maybe start out with a half of one bunch, clean it WELL, and then boil in 2 cups of water. One cup should boil out & the water should be pure/or drinking water if possible. Drain the parsely out thru a strainer & keep the green looking water (it tastes like your drinking warm grass!! IF the taste is unpleasant, try it cold or with a little honey). But i think warm/room temp is the best for your body. Not too sure of a vitamin that works, but I do know of certain foods you should eat and NOT eat. Stay away from foods high in yeast. Also, soft drinks, foods high in acid, or vinagar can cause problems as well. What you should do naturally to help keep those pesky things away is eat lots of yogart, natural cheese products, eat cranberries(fresh or dried), and drink all natural, no sugar added cranberry juice. Thats your best thing to cleanse your UT out of impurities that can cause infections. Also, if your sexually active, make sure you are peeing before and afterward, if you don't, believe it or not, the germs that get up there during sex can cause you to get UTI's. Good luck, and I promise if you do these things, it will make the world of difference! :) There is a complete liquid vitamin called VEMMA that you take 2 ounces a day. Check out this website and read about UTI. www.vemmatestimonies.com They sell cranberry pills specifically for UTI's in health food stores and drug store. cure it in natural healing try Garlic is very effective in resolving the symptoms of urinary tract infection. Garlic is lethal to most of the Gram negative Bacteria which causes urinary tract infections.Urinary Tract Infection is an encroachment by the bacteria of the urinary tract which includes kidney, ureters, bladder or urethra.
