Are urinary tract infections painful for women?

As I have one myself right now I can honestly answer YES very painful sometimes!!

UTI's are painful for anyone, but more common in women. Hurt like hell..!

I have had several and they really were painful. Yo me it was like trying to pass a caustic solution, the burn was that severe. Once I had one so bad I could not urinate and had to wait on medication to kick in before I could urinate, that one was the worst.

YES!!!! I get them lke 3 times a month. If u let them get way out of hand they can be very painful. You need to drink lots of water and cranberry juice, also u need to see a doctor so they can put u on an antibiotic. Some causes of UTI's are:
(1) TOO MUCH CAFFIENE!!!!!!
(2)Having sex and not washing good enough.
(3) Having multiple partners.
(4) Not drinking enough fluids.
(5) Holding your urine too long before deciding to go to the bathroom.

Symptoms include:
(1) burning and stinging when urinating
(2) the urge to urinate badly....but then u just dribble
(3)Blood in the urine
(4) cloudy or strong smelling urine.

Oh Gosh Yes... A UTI can be very painful.
You can buy Azo Standard, (in any grocery or drug store even WalMart.) It temporarily relieves the pain. It's not a cure for one though, but sure helps make it bearable to live with until you can get an antibiotic.
