Anyone have urinary tract infections?

ive been on medicine for 2 days - nothing hurts but I constantly have to urinate. Im up half the night because of this. Im waiting for the culture to come back. Im exhausted from lack of sleep

Go to the pharmacy and get Uristat It will end the constant need to pee, it doesn't clear the infection that is what the antibiotics are for, but it takes away the bladder urgency feeling. It also turns your urine bright orange so don't be shocked. It will work wonders though
You will most likely find it in the asile with the tampons and menstral cramp medicine and such.... Or ask the pharmasist he will know what you need if you tell him URISTAT There also another one called AZO Standard, just make sure it is the one for frequency and pain. Also stay away from caffine.
Yougurt has no effect on a UTI and cranberry juice may help preventthem, and can't hurt, but won't fix this problem

I've had one...and ouch!

If I recall correctly... the very same day I took the first pill I felt normal.

If it is a UTI, just take the anti-biotics for the length of the prescription, and once done with it, consider these guidelines: Drink plenty of water each day....Don't "hold" when there's the need to urinate....You might also consider taking a One-A-Day vitamin that's got 100% RDA of Zinc as well. Sorry you're exhausted now, but I think you'll feel okay once the infection is knocked out. Hope this helps.

relax and try to get some rest. you'll pull through

I've never personally had one - but try to drink cranberry juice and eat yogurt - I've heard that it helps!!!
