After you get your UTI treated, everything will be exactly the way it was. UTI aren't transmissible by peeing in the same toiled as someone with a UTI. Sex can be painful with one though.

Seriously, all you do is take an antibiotic for a few weeks and it's all gone. The worst that will happen afterwards is that you'll get a yeast infection from the antibiotic killing the bacteria in your vagina that keeps the yeast in control so make sure to eat yogurt with L. acidophilus while taking your antibiotic.

You will be fine. Unless it has spread to your kidneys, but this doesn't happen often since most people get theirs treated in time.

honey, i have had a lot of uti's. i don't think you can get it from a tiolet seat. as long as you go to your doctor and have it treated it shouldn't give you a problem later on.

First off get treatment for it..
No you cannot get it off a toilet seat.
Yes you can give it to your partner, so he should be treated also.
It will not affect anything when you get older.
Just get to the doctor and have it treated, it will go away soon enough and you will be back to your old self..

UTI' S are nothing to be worried about. They are not contagious and you can't get them from toilet seats. Increase the water in your diet. Lots of sugary and syrupy things can cause them also taking a bath in a different kind of soap or using a different kind of soap. Keep cranberry pills on hand and if you ever feel one coming on just start taking them they usually come 450mg take 4 and the next time you have to pee it should be gone if not take more. You can treat a UTI with cranberry pills but if you start peeing blood you must go to the DR for antibiotics

Once you've finished all the antibiotics the doctor gave you, you'll be fine. It won't effect you in any way ever again. Unless of course you get another UTI later in life, which can happen. So don't worry! I've had a few, (the first one was when I was born, but thats a long story). Anyways, I have no effects from them at all anymore and my hubby was never effected either.
