I keep getting Urinary Tract Infections after having intercourse or when me and my boyfriend play with my toys |
I make sure everything (toys) are clean and sanitized..and I still get them. Is it possible there are resistant forms of bacteria on the toys? sterilize toys, and remember to wipe front to back! :) Could be on the toys, could be on your hands, could be on your partners penis, could be from using the toys too close to the anus and cross contaminating. Try the AZO tabs that are sold over the counter for infections before intercourse and of course void before and after sex. You might also have some other medical issue called Interstitial Cystitis if you are prone to a lot of UTI's Also, you need to try to urinate after intercourse and wash away any bacteria that can get into your urinary tract. (Wipe front to back as well.) yep definitely pee after having sex. All that rubbing around can transfer things from your vagina/anus/hands into your urethra and peeing just helps to flush that stuff away. A good friend of mine was really prone to UTI's too so if all of our advice doesn't help, talk to your doctor well i am a firm believer in abstinence, so you and your boyfriend need to stop bein horny cows! remember glove it or shove it!!! Since you are making sure your toys are clean, then that should not be the problem. Doesn't sound like you need to stop using the toys or get rid of the toys. :) Does your boyfriend wash his hands before he touches your genitals? Does he ever touch your anus/use toys in them, and then go to your vagina without changing gloves/condoms/hand washing with soap? More likely, bacteria is getting forced into your urethra, either from his hands or your body during the sex. It's a design flaw that we have; the urethral opening is way too close to the vagina, and often gets irritated or infected. Some people are more prone to UTI's than others. One thing to avoid doing if you get UTI's frequently is to make sure your toys steer clear of going in the anal area and back to the vagina or near the urethra again. The anus has a lot of e-coli bacteria that can cause nasty UTI's. Also, be sure to urinate afterwards. Drinking 6-8 glasses of water a day helps as well. Drinking cranberry juice or taking cranberry capsules may aid in the prevention of UTI's because it creates hippuric acid in the urine which makes the urine more acetic causing it to kill more bacteria. If you think your toys has some resistant strain on them, clean them with some alcohol or try purchasing a new toy and see how that fairs. Good luck! =) Always make sure that you are "ready", or umm.. wet enough, sorry couldnt think of a better way, sometimes if you are not quiet sexually aroused and your Bf uses toys or inserts his penis, it can cause iritation and lead to UTI's. GOOD LUCK you need to go pee after!! I got multiple uti's until my doctor figured out that no one had ever told me that. Sex or simulated sex pushes bacteria the wrong way up your urethra. You should empty your bladder as soon as your done or at least within 20 minutes. Cranberry juice can help with prevention as well but won't cure anything i suggest you and your bf stop being perverts and not use toys that would save the time of washing them and you wouldent get the infections!!! |
