How can I stop getting Urinary Tract infections after everytime I masturbate?

Hi, I'm a 15 year old girl..and after everytime I masturbate, I get a UTI. I wash my hands thoroughly before and after I do, I just don't know why I keep getting UTI's. Any suggestions?

You may not be washing your hands well enough, or you are transferring bacteria from somewhere else on your body. Drink a lot of water before and urinate afterwards. This is true during sex also.

Urinate DIRECTLY after you masturbate.

Maybe your vagina is sensetive to the soap your using, very fragrent soaps can cause infections.

UTI's are easily preventable--

*Wipe front to back NOT back to front. By wiping back to front, you have a higher chance of introducing bacteria.
*Urinate BEFORE and AFTER. This helps to flush out any bacteria.
*Drink plenty of water and incorporate cranberry juice into your diet.
*Wash your hands.

Urinate right after and you can also use those wet wipes to clean up. Make sure you wipe front to back. I use always wipes for women. Plus once you get a UTI it is so much easier to get one again. Drinking 100% cranberry juice can help.

Try urinating before and after and cleanse the Whole area down there before and after. Hope this helps!! Also make sure you wash any toys you use .

UTI's are generaly caused by a transfer of bacteria into that area. Make sure you wash your hands thoroughly before-hand but also that you urinate before AND afterwards. This is the advice my doctor gave me regarding sexual intercourse also.

Do not have contact with your anal area during masturbation - mixing contact between that area and your vagina will pass bacteria between the two locations and cause a UTI.

I was also getting alot of UTI's and now everytime I go near that area as you metioned, I will always after, take two cranberry pills with a glass of water.It will flush out the bacteria that gets into the urinary tract.
You can buy these cranberry tablets at any store.They are natural and they are a preventable solution to the problem.

2. if you want, you could use a condom and put your finger in the condom when you do yourself

3. be sure that the surface you are lying on is clean.

4. use a FEMINE WASH right after you masturbate.

5. change your underwear.

IMPORTANT ---> But remember, wash your vagina first. After washing your vagina, only then you could wash your anus. Most girls wash them at the same time. That is not healthy because what They are actually doing is they are tranSfering fecal matter from the anus to the vagina - which is the most common cause of UTI, according to my doctor

It sounds like you have the hand washing thing down. Obviously you have a sensitive urinary track... To be on the safe side you should include some craberry juice in to your diet. Not the sweet kind the sugar free/natural kind.

That is unfortunate! Maybe you could talk to your doctor about it, maybe something else is going on.
