What is the story about clavical ribs?

My ex-wife(whom has a team of doctors) is always looking for something wrong with our 13 year old daughter. She has told me that my daughter has double clavical ribs on her collar bone. To make the issue worse she has then taken my girl to a cardiologist because these ribs are adding pressure to her heart,
My ex has had a long history of making medical mountains out of molehills. I have done research on clavical ribs and have come up with either conflicting data or i am just not understanding the data.
Could someone help me out with this?

sounds like a bunch of sh!t. I code for medical reports and I have NEVER seen it.

I think you should pull your daughter out of this woman's care, or you will find yourself with an adult daughter who's a hypochondriac.

I am a nurse and have never hear of this. That's not to say that it's not possible-weird things happen all the time. You should be going to these doctor's appts. with them to see what's going on. If she is seeing a cardiologist, they will be able to tell if it is true or not. If you are concerned, you need to get more involved! It sounds like you are more worried about what your ex is doing than the health of your daughter. If the illness is true-you should be helping to care for your daughter, and if your ex is making up problems, maybe you need to look into seeing if she is a fit parent. Bottom line is that you need to be there helping to care for your kid!
