Leg muscles? |
I need to explain how the leg muscles and cells work on a soccer player as he sprints up the field. I tried researching it on the internet but got alot of medical info that I don't understand. I do not know how much detale u need and my spelling sucks but hear goes, the leg mucles are made up of many cells which shreenk in lenght when stimulated this shreenking causes the entire mucle to get shorter and fater. The shortening then pulls on tendons which atach the mucle to bone. this causes the bone to be pulled in the driection of the mucle on the other side of the bone the muscle relaxes and lengthens alowing the movement. you can flex the mucles on both sides of a bone and there will be no movement. If u need more detel or are not clear just ask away get anatomy for dummies at the library |
