Pelvic Ultrasound questions.?

Does anyone know what it means when it says ML on an ultrasound. My ultrasound was done for severe pelvic bleeding. On the ultrasound it says TRANS UT ML TO RT. On the picture it looks like a mass. Could this be what ML stands for?

The technologist was taking images of the uterus from the midline to the right side. ML = midline (middle or central part). When we are documenting the anatomy, we need to give the radiologist a point of reference. As technologists, we don't label a mass, such as a fibroid. We might take images of a fibroid that we see, but it is the radiologist's job to determine it is a fibroid. A technologist will type the words uterus and ovaries, but you will not see the words "fibroid" or "ovarian cyst" on the images. That would be diagnosing a patient, not just documenting anatomy. Ultrasound technologists cannot diagnose.

well the ut, stand for uterus and ml stand for millimeter and rt stand for right, you would've had some numbers in the report or, were you looking at the screen when the tech was doing the ultrasound, your results are no secret from you the doctor who ordered the ultrasound can definitely tell you what the report showed. good luck i hope everything is all well.
