Ultrasound Bill?

My husband and I are TTC? I went to my OBGYN to get on Clomid and get me hormone levels checked to make sure everything was balanced and ok to start the Clomid since I knew I was not pregnant. My OBGYN started with a vaginal examination and then started to do a vaginal ultrasound. Having one child already I know how expensive u/s are so I said I knew I was not pregnant since I took a test this morning and told her I didn't want/need to have one done. She literally did a 10 second check without my consent and now a month later I am getting billed for a $300 ultrasound. What should I do? Has anyone ever been in this situation before? What happened?

I'm already in the process of finding a new Dr. This was my first time seeing this one.

You might want to change doctors if she's not willing to communicate with you. There's a good possibility the hospital has rules about not proscribing certain meds unless certain tests are done - and she was just following rules (which you can call and ask about)...but she should have at least told you that.

I WOULD CALL AND COMPLAIN. BUT SHE HAS NO RIGHT TO DO THAT IF U HAD SAID NO
