Abdomen ultrasound results?

I got an ultrasound result for my abdomen and everything seems to be normal except for "markedly echogenic" liver from extensive fatty change. My liver is normal in size however. That word "markedly" ...is that a bad term? I know now I have a fatty liver...is that what the results of an ultrasound for a fatty liver sounds like usually?

Yes. Those words are absolutly consistent with ultra sound results of a fatty liver.By the way a fatty liver can be greatly improved through a heathy diet.

yes, it means literly that it was easy to see by the echoscopist. He or she does not interpret but only tries to observe.

why dont you ask the doctor that told you this

markedly typically means something along the lines of notably, in other words, it is quite echogenic
